Hello, my name is Keir Morse and I am a professional field botanist with over 20 years of experience working for the U.S. government, nonprofits, and environmental consulting firms. My primary interests include floristics, taxonomy, conservation, citizen science, and photography. Major projects I work on in my free time include sharing diagnostic plant photos to help people with plant identification, documenting the geographic distributions of plants, and trying to sort out how to identify plants when the available identification resources are confusing.
Below are links to pages about my
photography and about my PhD research on the genus Malacothamnus.
Additionally, the Patreon link goes to my Patreon site where I post
details on some of the nonprofit work I've been doing and where I
hope some affluent conservation-minded people may stumble someday.
